The iMOW® 5 is the latest advancement in STIHL’s lineup of robotic mowers, designed specifically for home gardens. This automated lawn care solution effortlessly maintains your lawn, providing a lush green carpet without any manual effort on your part. With the capability to manage lawns up to 1,500 m² and gradients reaching 40%, the iMOW® is propelled by a high-performance lithium-ion battery, ensuring efficient and continuous operation over extended periods.
Controlled through the MY iMOW® app, this robotic mower seamlessly integrates into your smart home ecosystem. The app allows you to manage various functions, such as initiating mowing sessions, directing the mower back to its dock, adjusting mowing plans, modifying cutting heights, and checking the iMOW®’s current status. The connection is established either through your home WiFi network, reaching your garden, or via Bluetooth when you are in proximity to the machine.
Installation involves laying or burying a thin wire around the lawn’s outer edge and obstacles like shrubs, trees, flower beds, or water features. A second wire in the lawn’s centre guides the iMOW® back for recharging. Equipped with sensors, the iMOW® navigates obstacles by slowing down, softly bumping into them, and redirecting its path. The MY iMOW® app provides step-by-step guidance for self-installation, requiring an appropriate installation kit (sold separately) based on your garden size. For complex gardens, you can request installation from a local STIHL Approved Dealer.
The iMOW® features 3 free-swinging, extra-sharp blades that offer a precise cut and longevity. Operating as a mulching mower, it cuts grass into small clippings, acting as a natural and nutrient-rich fertilizer. No need for emptying grass catcher boxes! The iMOW® executes mowing plans tailored to your preferences, and thanks to its quiet operation, you can send it out even while you relax in the garden.
Rain sensors allow you to decide whether the iMOW® continues working in the rain or makes up the mowing time later. Intuitive software ensures hassle-free charging, as the iMOW® autonomously returns to its weather-proof docking station, preparing for the next mowing session.
Accessible through the control panel or the MY iMOW® app, the iMOW® provides information about the next mowing session. Safety precautions include keeping children and small animals away during operation and ensuring the mowing area is free of small objects. DISC-CUT SYSTEM
Consistent lawn perfection is achieved through the combination of a high rotational speed and 3 free-swinging, exceptionally sharp blades. The rotation direction is automatically switched regularly for optimal cutting results.
ELECTRIC CUT-HEIGHT ADJUSTEMENT
Achieve perfection every time with the convenience of adjusting the cutting height for the robotic lawnmower directly through the iMow app.
CONNECTIVITY
Manage your iMow robotic lawnmower effortlessly through the app, utilizing Bluetooth or WiFi connections. For EVO models, you can additionally link the app to the robot mower via a mobile network.
MOBILE ACCESS
Access status updates and tasks from any location through the MY iMOW app. Utilize the app to craft an interactive mowing plan, track the current location, and define mowing zones.
ZONE MANAGEMENT
If your garden features intricate or irregularly shaped areas, along with obstacles like trees and ponds, simplify the mowing plan by establishing starting points and specifying preferred mowing zones.
ALARM SYSTEM
If iMow is lifted or experiences unusual tilting or movement, an alarm will activate. The alarm ceases when the mower is placed back on the ground. Furthermore, if removed from the designated home area, the robot will disable all control functions as an added security measure.
RAIN SENSOR
With the rain sensor in place, iMOW intelligently determines whether to proceed with mowing depending on the weather conditions. Customize how the robot mower responds to rain through the app.
SIMPLIFIED UPDATES
Stay connected. You can either update your iMOW through the over-the-air update system yourself or by visiting your nearby STIHL dealer.
