The STIHL GTA 30 is a compact yet powerful cordless garden pruner designed to make everyday pruning tasks faster, easier and more comfortable. Whether you’re trimming back branches and shrubs, cutting garden waste, or taking on small DIY projects, the GTA 30 delivers outstanding performance with effortless control.

Built for convenience and precision, the GTA 30 features rubberised non-slip handles that give you a secure, comfortable grip – even during longer sessions. Its 15 cm guide bar offers greater reach than the popular GTA 26, making it ideal for tackling larger pruning jobs around the garden. Despite the extra cutting capacity and enhanced power, it remains impressively lightweight at just 1.9 kg, making it suitable for users of all experience levels.

Equipped with a ¼” PM3 low-vibration saw chain, the GTA 30 delivers clean, high-performance cuts with minimal effort. STIHL’s innovative spring-loaded chain tensioning system allows you to adjust the chain quickly and tool-free – simply open the sprocket cover, twist, and the chain tensions itself automatically. Applying chain oil is just as simple: add lubricant directly to the chain as needed for smooth, efficient cutting.

The GTA 30 runs on two AS 2 batteries (supplied with this kit) that discharge in parallel for maximum power and runtime. The tool will only operate with both batteries inserted, ensuring consistent output and reliability. An LED charge-level indicator positioned on top of the tool keeps you informed, while the included AL 5-2 high-speed charger can recharge two AS 2 batteries simultaneously in just 50 minutes.

A durable hardcase is included, with space for two extra AS 2 batteries and a clear diagram so you always know battery orientation at a glance. The built-in hanging eyelet lets you store the pruner neatly on the wall when not in use. When working, STIHL recommends holding the tool with both hands – one on the main handle and one guiding the top handle – for optimal control and safety.

With the recommended AS 2 batteries, the GTA 30 delivers up to 180 cuts in 5 cm branches, making it perfect for regular garden maintenance.
