The STIHL FS55R is a lightweight petrol brushcutter, powered by a STIHL 27cc 2-stroke engine and has a comfortable loop-style handle. It has a mowing width of 420mm and is the perfect brushcutter for small-medium gardens. Thanks to the loop handle it is compact and manoeuvrable enough to strim around those tight edges and where space is limited.
The STIHL FS 55 R is also easy to start and operate, it has a small fuel pump that delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button, it also has an electronic ignition module which ensures reliable and trouble free starting. It has a comfortable thumb-operated control that means the operator’s hand never leaves the handle.
This brushcutter is supplied as standard with an AutoCut C26-2 mowing head. A metal grass cutting blade can be fitted to the FS 55 R to tackle thicker vegetation (available separately)
Please note: A blade fitting kit and blade guard are required when fitting a metal grass cutting blade (available separately)
