The Honda HRX 476 VY is a self propelled 19″ petrol lawnmower and is powered by a OHC 4-stroke Honda GCVx170 167 cc engine, its packed full of innovative features.
The integrated auto-choke system means starting this machine couldn’t be easier. It provides a perfect start no matter what the weather conditions. Featuring a hard-wearing Polystrong®/ Xenoy® deck, specially developed by Honda for HRX lawn mowers, it is created as one complete and super-smooth unit, designed to improve the mower’s collecting performance. Its lightweight too, which makes the HRX easier to handle. Additionally, the deck is resistant to UV rays, and will not rust.
The HRX 476 VY features Honda RotoStop, with this excellent feature you are able to empty the grass bag whilst the engine is still running, simply let go of the handle, the engine will continue to run whilst the blades stop. This is also helpful when re-locating to different areas such as crossing a driveway.
The Honda HRX 476 VY features the new Variable Select Drive which offers the highest level of smoothness and control. This lawnmower’s speed is adjusted using a dial on the control bar and allows you to set a constant speed.
The HRX 476 VY has twin blades which create much smaller clippings for much more efficient grass collection and for improved mulching. It also features a 3-step adjustable handlebar to find the ideal height for each individual user, maximising comfort levels. The handles also fold down completely in order to fit perfectly in the shed or garage without having to worry about space.
With the Honda Versamow system, you can either bag the clippings into the large 69 litre collection bag, or mulch the clippings. Its very easy to switch over thanks to just one single lever. The grass flow is optimised by the cutter decks aerodynamic design. It’s easy to vary the ratio collected or mulched allowing you to choose how you manage your grass clippings.
